NANS condemns the killing of the retired Chief of defence staff, says if he can be assassinated,what is the fate of common defenceless Nigerians




The National Association of Nigerian Students on Wednesday denounced the killing of the quick past Air Chief Marshal, Alex Badeh, resigned Chief of Defense Staff.

 The previous Chief of Defense Staff, Badeh, a four-star General of the Nigerian Air Force, was shot dead on Tuesday along Abuja-Keffi Road.

 The Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, affirmed Badeh's death in an announcement in Abuja on Tuesday.

 He said that that the previous guard boss passed on from gunfire wounds continued when his vehicle was assaulted on Abuja-Keffi Road while coming back from his ranch. NANS' National Public Relations Officer, Mr Bestman Okereafor, in an announcement in Enugu, asked security operators to guarantee that the culprits of "this shrewdness are conveyed to book immediately." 

 "The consideration of the zenith understudies administering body, NANS, has been attracted to the frightful death of Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, a resigned four-star signal officer of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).

He said the association was not unaware of the Federal Government’s efforts to tackle insecurity in the country even though it was being frustrated by some political gladiators. 

 "On this pitiful note, NANS is saying goodbye to the previous Chief of Defense Staff.

 "May God give the Badeh family, administration of Adamawa and the Nigerian Air Force the courage to tolerate this hopeless misfortune, we supplicate that his delicate and rough soul rest in harmony, Amen.'
