GOV. Fayemi of Ekiti State sacks EKSU Vice-Chancellor







Ekiti state government has declared the removal of the Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Prof. Sam Bandele, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Dr. Kolawole Ogundipe and Provost of the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, Prof. Mojisola Oyarekwa. 

Their removal pursued the thought and selection of the White Papers on the reports of the Visitation and Fact-discovering Panels by the State Executive Council, on the foundations by the legislature. 

The Governor of the state, Dr Kayode Fayemi, in his ability as Visitor, said the most senior authorities of the foundations should assume control over the running of the establishments pending the arrangement of substantive heads. 

An announcement by the Chief Press Secretary to the senator, Yinka Oyebode, on Tuesday, said the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Prof (Mrs)Olubunmi Ajayi, is to assume responsibility in an acting limit pending the arrangement of a substantive Vice Chancellor by the Governing Council. 

The representative additionally endorsed the arrangement of Mrs Folakemi Falore as the Sole Administrator of the College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti. 

On account of the College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero, the Sole Administrator is in charge of actualizing the White Paper.
